El músico mexicano Carlos Santana lanzará el 21 de septiembre "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time", un disco que reune emblemáticas composiciones en las que se luce la guitarra.
Cada tema será acompañado por la voz de cantantes invitados, entre los que figuran Chris Cornell ("Whole Lotta Love"), Pat Monahan ("Dance the Night Away"), Chester Bennington y Ray Manzarek ("Riders On The Storm"), Rob Thomas ("Sunshine Of Your Love"), Scott Weiland ("Can't You Hear Me Knockin"), Chris Daughtry ("Photograph") y Gavin Rossdale ("Bang A Gong").
El disco también incluirá a Nas ("Back In Black"), a india.arie y Yo-Yo Ma ("While My Guitar Gently Weeps"), a Joe Cocker ("Little Wing") y a Jonny Lang ("I Ain't Superstitious").
"Guitar Heaven" es el primer material de estudio de Santana desde la trilogía de éxitos consecutivos que tuvo con "Supernatural" (1999), "Shaman" (2002) y "All That I Am" (2005).
